The VFFP Crew is back at their home base after a great weekend in Las Vegas at the World Championship of Fantasy Football. If you are a Fantasy Fanatic, the WCOFF event is definitely an event you don’t want to miss.

It was held at the MGM Grand, where we took the time to enjoy the sun at poolside. Jill, Dustin, Jessie and the entire WCOFF crew were great hosts and we thank them for a fabulous weekend.

Week One of Fantasy Football was filled with surprises as studs turned to duds and scoring was down across the board. This is traditionally the case as players try to get in sync and get their legs under them in Week One.

Vegas Bound For The World Championship of Fantasy Football

World Championship of Fantasy Football Winner NFL Season 2008-09

This week the Vegas Fantasy Football Crew is traveling to Las Vegas to participate in the Main Event for the World Championship Of Fantasy Football. We will be Twittering LIVE for the duration of the draft on September 12th, so be sure to check our tweets out on this day.

Up to 100 leagues will hold their Draft on Friday, September 11, 2009 and Saturday, September 12, 2009. Some leagues will draft in Las Vegas, NV. Others will draft in Atlantic City, NJ, Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX. Each league will be composed of 12 teams, and each draft will last for 20 rounds, with each team selecting a player in each round in a serpentine fashion.

RB: LaDainian Tomlinsom Chargers @ Raiders - LT2 thinks Al Davis is his Uncle, with the generous Raiders.

RB: Frank Gore 49ers - Gore gets it going early and often in a shootout in the desert.
