FANTASY FACTS:

Donovan McNabb owners were happy to see him back after he posted 28.2 FP this week. Owners of WR DeSean Jackson are not so happy. In two games with McNabb under center, Jackson has just 7.3 FP.

Matt Hasselbeck is the latest QB to take advantage of one of the worst pass defenses in football. Hass posted 30.35 FP against the Jaguars in Week 5.

Cedric Benson is the real deal for the Bengals. The Ravens D had not allowed a 100 rusher in 39 straight games. Benson rushed for 120 yards and posted 21.6 FP. The longest streak belongs to the Vikings now at 28 games.

The Giants starting RB, Brandon Jacobs, has 47.6 FP in five games. His backup, Ahmad Bradshaw, has 62.9 FP. Apart from Week 3 (15.2), Jacobs has not reached double digit FP in any game.

Rookie WR Jeremy Maclin (32.2) and Austin Collie (29.7) lit it up in Week 5. Of the two, expect Maclin to keep it rolling as he takes over the WR2 role for the Eagles.

Cowboys WR Austin Miles had 47 FP in Week 5. He had 58.8 FP in all of 2008. He may have set a FP record (57.4) had he not dropped three passes in the end zone.

Through three games, the Eagles gave up a total of 25.3 FP to the Tight End position. TE Kellen Winslow posted 31.2 FP against them in Week 5.

The Browns and Raiders set Fantasy Football back 10 years in Week 5. They combined for 76.5 FP. There were 21 teams that scored more Fantasy points on their own, led by the Falcons with 149.2 FP.

Roddy White (41 FP) and Austin Miles (47 FP) scored more points than the entire total the Browns (37.6 FP) and Raiders (38.9) posted.

The Giants have allowed the least total FP at 60.12 FPPG. The Titans have allowed the most total FP at 123.44 FPPG.

The Broncos are allowing the least FP to QB at 10.3 FPPG. The Titans have allowed the most at 27.1 FPPG.

The Steelers are allowing the least FP to RB at 15.0 FPPG. The Chargers have allowed the most FP at 36.7 FPPG.

The Giants are allowing the least FP to WR at 11.8 FPPG. The Jaguars have allowed the most FP at 47.2 PPG.

The Broncos are allowing the least FP to TE at 5.7 FPPG. The Vikings have allowed the most FP with at 21.8 FPPG.

The Giants are allowing the least FP to PK at 3.4 FPPG. The Raiders have allowed the most FP at 8.8 FPPG.

The Giants are allowing the least DST FP at 2.6 FPPG. The Panthers have allowed the most FP at 14.5 FPPG.

FANTASY FACTOR:

The Fantasy Factor was 8-6 in Week 5 bringing our overall record to 53-23. Late scores by the Bengals, Browns, Broncos and Dolphins sent us to worst week of season. We’ll get back on track in Week 6!

A mismatch of Fantasy Beasts versus Fantasy Busts goes a long way to deciding the outcome of NFL games. If you wager on the outcome of games, you need to consider the Fantasy Factor.

B: Bad Bet (8-11): These are not good games to select a winner from based on the Fantasy Factor. You should stay away from these games.

M: Middle Bet (21-7): These are decent games to select a winner from based on the Fantasy Factor. You should still consider all the facts before picking from these games.

E: Excellent Bet (24-5): These are excellent games to select a winner from based on the Fantasy Factor. Load up and enjoy!!!
